Is there any info on the different PrimeGrid apps, CPU and GPU? I know some CPU apps really push the CPU and drive the temps up. Some run a long time. I'm 100 hours into a Seventeen or Bust CPU app WU with 33 hours to go
That's on a 3.5Ghz Xeon processor.

I thought it gave you estimated run times and also the long unit bonus levels if you go into the project preference page.
Your right though Scole PrimeGrid is hard on CPU and GPUGRID too!

Yeah, I knew Seventeen or Bust was long running. Wondering about best paying apps for a challenge.

#5 Re: 1/12-6/12 Karl Schmidt-Rottluff - PrimeGrid
I suppose that would be crunching the long running ones now so you finish just as the comp starts then working your way towards the shortest ones. Only problem I've found is the infamous Mr Pen Ding.
My opinion is that the longer units take longer to validate - could be wrong though.

Ok, another 2 challenge week. I'm in.
Ooo! I have a Seventeen or bust WU that's been in pending for a little over a week. Maybe it will score during this challenge.

Less than a day to go and unless someone has a 6,000,000 bunker they're holding back it looks like we'll coast into 7th.
Alez has sidled up next to AriZonaMoon*, but I'm doing everything I can to catch up and push him out of the way.
Hey Moon

There was no sidling, simply an overtaking maneuver that left me on top
