I think most people on this forum are busy with -amongst others- crunching, as The Scottish Boinc Team heads the present Gerasim Team Challenge (New Year 2024 Challenge is Gerasim@Home ! Crunching of Subfield 7 from NumberFields@home) on BOINCStats. Will the team reach the 100,000,000 credits on this challenge?

If it is any consolation, things are very quiet at AMD Users too...

We are all still gobsmacked by Sebastien pulling the plug on Formula BOINC 48 hours before the 2023 comp finished.
What a complete and utter @%$&!
As regards the Gerasim challenge: we do seem to have passed 100M so hopefully everyone knows we are still in business!
The BOINC community can look forward to similar levels of supremacy on PG challenges!

I'm still slowly running NFS but soon there will be a new priority in life.

I am just back from the Deventer Book Fair, an had closed down the x86-64 part of my fleet in order to save on my power bill.
I am now concentrating on those (sub)projects that can deliver a fast new badge and/or milestone for me.

Hardware-wise, I just launched my first AM5 system. Got it running using 'reset to UEFI default values'.

I am presently looking into building mini-iTX systems that can take either ARM or RISC-V boards. It's a pity that WEP-M+2 is not around anymore.

I pop in every now and then and delete the spam posts and spammers trying to join. Still crunching but not as much as I used to

Most of us are still around and still crunching.
We are making a strong challenge on Formula Boinc.
Members of the team are still communicating via other channels, but you are correct Gregg, we have been neglecting this site, and one another.
A fair bit of this is because of past fears that this site had been hacked. But it is high time that we became confident that the security measures we implemented after that episode are effective and return here where we all belong.
TSBT are famed/notorious for bunkering but we shouldn't be living in a bunker.
Let's all get back out in the open!

As i stated before, mostly on NFS@Home, where now help is needed on the big siever to sieve two of the "Gang of 31" composites from the 60's table. Sometimes i just do some prime hunting on private servers.
