NumberFields WUs finishing up, so I'll push WCG during the challenge. Might be able to turn 2 or 3 WUProp apps lime.

WCG isn't at the top of my to-do list to crunch. It's a worthy project, but it has tons of support already. I'm crunching it to support the other TSBT members who regularly crunch it and help chip away at it to get WCG a bit closer to the top 100. :)

Its going to take a lot of chips to get WCG into the top 100!
Good reasoning though Scole, I'm going to run a few units too. Nothing to do with trying to get another badge though

WCG is a project I've crunched for many a moon, 34 years worth so far, plenty of
blue badges for all badge-a-holics

, Sudoku was a fav at one time but I always return to WCG
Unlike Numberfields@home I cant make much of an impression at all, remember that 'every LITTLE helps' ... is great to see some support !

Add the badge graphic to your signature and show them off!
24 hours in and we've moved into a respectable 10th of 19. Struggling to make some progress towards 9th though. Hopefully the pendings will level off and we'll get a good flow of valid WUs rolling in. :)

The Duke of Buckingham posted this great pic on their WCG challenge page. Thought it was worth sharing....

Scotland Forever! Excellent depiction of the The Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons) at Waterloo by Lady Butler.

Well, you appear to have 3 different CPIDs (Cross-project IDs). This one, 8959e0e2522daa6f6fb5ffc0301f108a, has all the badge bearing projects though. Here's your info at the signature.statseb.fr site...
http://signature.statseb.fr/index.py?cp ... c0301f108a
Go to that account, customize the signature graphic, save and copy the signature graphic link for it, then go the TSBT forum User Control Panel, click the profile tab on the top edge, then click the Edit signature on the left, add an img tags with the graphic url between the tags and save.
Sweet! How is that system used or how do you get time on it? Does it have a proprietary OS or does it run good old linux? The INDY cluster with it's NVIDIA K20 GPUs looks interesting too. A K20 GPU has SP performance of a GTX 970 and nearly the DP performance of a Titan.
I also noticed you're not signed up for the WUProp project. It's a different type of project which runs one WU per BOINC Client and collects CPU time stats on all the WUs on all the projects you crunch. It uses practically no CPU resources. That project has a badge like this

and we brag about our progress here...

A little more than a day to go and TSBT is still holding 10th. We've clawed our way within 8,000 of CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES, but unless utopia-i figures out how to get that Cray to crunch WCG, we're probably going to remain in 10th.

Not sure we'll manage to claw our way up to 9th to be honest.
WCG isn't the easiest project to make big gains in.

Ye of little faith :) We're now less than 3,500 away from 9th. Not sure if pendings are starting to pay off, CSF missed a shift or we've picked up another cruncher, but I like the trend.
After looking at things, either CSF is peeling off and crunching SETI or they simply gave up after recognizing the superior teamwork of TSBT 8)

I'm,
pleased /
delighted /
THRILLED to announce that have reached my first 5 year WCG badge, for OET during this challenge. (12
blue badges to work on)
I'd love you all to see that in my sig but canny get it to work at all

, can't get access to my
http://signature.statseb.fr account to add some details either, not answering emails it seems.
I will investigate the CRAY and have had success previously, in Nov 13' , getting a massive, well for someone who gets 20K, a whopping 625K daily credit, after accessing an in house compute cluster, some flavor of linux. Took me about 3 months to work out how to submit and run jobs, this was good however, as the users were getting set for Xmas and the cluster wasn't fully utilised. It was a joyous experience as I tried to understand the mystories of qsub, I agree the Cray does have potential :bounce:
I see NFS@Home challenge looms in a few weeks, time to get that project added and tested out.
THANKS again for all who went the eXtra mile and crunched some WCG wus this challenge. Remember it the taking part that counts!
