Oopsie!
Missed the start of this. I've put my droids onto it (to the limited extent that I can control them) and will get my other cores onto it once fourth is absolutely secured in the Constellation challenge.
At present, an hour in, we are 9th of 11 in a race which has yet to properly start.
Once the other one is over we will surge thru the field!

I missed this one too - can you spot a trend here
Once I've run through my outstanding units I'll aim towards this and see what I can do to help

We've moved up to 7th of 13. :? Okayish but should be better. :(

My wayward 'Droids haven't come up with the goods, and we are sitting securely in 4th for the Constellation challenge, so I'll set a bunch of cores onto it to see if at very least I can propel us into 6th and get myself into the top 100 for it.

So, does the TSBT have any history with the UK Boinc Team?

Let's take them!

Just a long & happy history of friendly rivalry I'm pleased to say. :)
But yes, let's go get 'em! :D

We've already overtaken nmbtdp today and are just 529 credits behind UBT. The Koreans aren't that far ahead.
So 4th place should be our goal. Again.

BOINCstats still doesn't show TSBT as my team. I guess since I just registered for the SIMAP project yesterday, it takes a couple days for the servers to sync up? Looks like the credits are still included in TSBT totals.

Boincstats now seem to be acknowledging your place in the vanguard of our efforts. :)
And we are ahead of UBT! :D
And gaining apace on the Koreans. :) :D

Scole, your knocking out some impressive numbers, both here and in the collatz comp. Clearly a man on the move upwards!
Like the new signature, looks like you'll be filling it up at a fair rate too :)

I work at small software company and have several co-workers who can appreciate contributions to math and science so they were happy to let me run Boinc on their workstations as well. Machines were made to work 24/7, right? Didn't plan on all the GPUs. Bought one, decided to get another off Ebay. Then decided to pull the trigger a new system build I'd been planning for a while. Well, the old computer was all there and it seemed a shame to just get rid of it. All it needed was a couple GPUs to make it worth keeping. :o The wife just shook her head. She has her hobbies, I have mine.

Oh yeah! First an allotment, then a croft, onto a farm and then a ranch. Go for it!

Just so long as you shelter her from the 'lecky bill!

Anyhoo, 4th is ours and will remain so.
Third might be beyond us but we should go for it anyway. Better a convincing 4th than a narrow 4th! :D

4 days to go and 4th looks pretty safe. :)
3rd is a long shot but lets go for it!
If nothing else I'd quite like to go from 23rd to joining Scole250 in the top 10!

Well. I'm not back yet but I do have internet now, so tried to move as many cores over to this as I can to help out. However, it seems that my droids and ordroids ( which mainly do simap, enigma and pogs ) have all decided that since I am on holiday, so are they  Should be fixed for at least the last two days of the challenge.

Hamsters are running. Fresh water and carrots for the lot.

Started a little late on this one, but 84th and climbing.

Scole250, impressive numbers coming out of you. Always good to have another big cruncher for the Scots. Go Team!! :blob6:

Just over a day to go and we are a very very strong 4th. No real chance of getting third place but our tally easily exceeds that of the next 3 teams put together.

On the individual front I'm up to 7th and just 4k away from overtaking scole250 who is now in 6th but only 50 credits away from 5th.

Exciting or what?

We really should have high stakes in-challenge betting to spice these things up!

I was looking forward to a top 5 finish, but perhaps I don't have the legs. One day to go.

Looks like you've grabbed fourth :D as has the team. We seem to have become specialists at finishing in fourth position.
I've managed to drag myself up into the top 20, Mega in the top 10. 5 of us in the top 50, 7 in the top 100, with just under 10 hours left to run. A good effort I would say.
