There was a huge field for this one, obviously the 3 months notice helped recruitment, which we sadly were well down, 20th of 27. :(

Individually it was a similar picture - over 2300 participants with none of us even making the top 10%.

Megacruncher . 272 (the comp was half way thru before I got out of first gear)
Pinkpenguin ... 338
Mark Henderson 527
Steve Ferguson . 618
Danny ........... 663
Iain .............. 850
Anita Squires ... 887
Paul .............. 943
Snowpaw ...... 1,016
Kostoglotov ... 1,195
Dodo Lamb .... 1,684
Giles .......... 1,767
Storme ........ 1,790
Grum .......... 1,845
ChrisCJD ...... 1,859

Thanks to all, especially the silent majority who just crunch because it is worthwhile & without regard to Kudos or competition.

 I think I may be in the latter categories.
I started this comp with all good intentions but got distracted by the chance of a top 10 spot in the NFS competition.
Does that make me a really bad person?

Not really bad, just a little unfocused!

Seriously, it doesn't matter what you crunch or when you crunch it so long as you crunch something as often as you can. The stats and challenges are just there to add a bit more interest to what otherwise could be a rather dry business.
