Most of these projects are one ethusiastic but possibly unpaid geek and his server type operations so if anything goes wrong it can take a while for them to even notice far less sort it. C'est le BOINC.
You just need to be patient and vigilent and always have a plan C for when plan B turns out to be every bit as FUBARed as plan A.
Ever considered SETI GPU? P*ss-poor credits but better than nothing and it would be a big help in staying top 100 for SETI.

For sure SETI is a bit of a charity crunch and were it not for The Sake of Old Lang Syne (it did get us all started on this whole enterprise) I might be as disdainful about it as yourself.
Paradoxically the coming back online on a superb payer like DistrRGen gives us us more scope for sparing a few CPUs and some of the weaker GPUs for SETI.

Relax if they've not got work then we can do something else.
Back to Primegrid for me. The credits are mediocre compared to DistRTGen but every other cruncher & team is in the same boat so no disadvantage to us.

They have gone from 14 minutes just over to 17 and a half, why is everything taking longer, i thought something was wrong with my GPU at 1st until i looked at everyone else units.

Whatever. It's nice to have a wee bit of choice again. All my Nvidia GPUs are going on equal shares for SETI Primegrid & DistRTGen.
The ATI ones are pretty much stuck with MooWrapper as CollatzC and Milkyway are all but work free zones.

Well Distrtgen is back on the go but for some reason the stats are not being reported by UBTSTATS as of this moment just now my dist figures are showing 43,050,219 on there but the project is reporting me at 44,379,879 as of 11:00 thats 1,329,660 out, is there a problem with it linking???
It makes it look that people are catching me up

.
EDIT : just checked it again and it says "last update 17:06:42 24-Dec-11", there seems to be a problem

It seems to be updating okay now and the UBTStats have surged to the extent that your competion entry is guaranteed to lose unless you update it.
The only odd thing is, and it is probably just an awesome coincidence rather than a glitch, that both thee & me have racked up 1,598,580 credits in the last 24 hrs. 8)
