Has just flown through 9 million.
Also interesting fact the RAC for UK users in the project is 286,049 of which the UK TSBT members contribute 200,000

Despite being relative late comers to the project we account for 55% of total UK credit for the project!
L'Alliance Francophone have picked up the pace a little recently but we are still beating them by RAC although we do have an 8 million gap to close in total credit.

It'll take a few months but we can do it!
According to
this world domination will be ours sooner or later.

I bought a pair of 512MB 8800GT's from OCUK. THey did have a deal on last week where you could get the 256MB versions for £39.99 but that appears to have finished and now
Was quite tempted to do them in SLI mode but that might require an investment in a new power supply so instead I have them in 2 separate machines.

yeah you can stick as many graphics cards into one pc as you can fit pcie 16 slots but you cant run them in sli mode.
as annoying as that may be most motherboards now allow sli to be turned on and off in the driver controll panel and if your going to be doing that serious a gaming session then you'll be stoping boinc anyway so changing one more setting shouldn't be to much of a problem.
still wish i could afford some new graphics mind you lol

Great stuff Mike.
We moved into 4th place for PS3Grid today. :wav:
Another remarkable feat is that TSBT provide 4 of the top 10 participants by RAC [Merlyn #1, Buster #3, Nightlord #7, Megacruncher #10]. The new card should have you in contention for joining us!

Nice one! It would be good to see a UK team at the top for a change! Usually AF, USA, or Germany top the leader boards on them

Thanks for the support Ben. If you and the rest of UBT want to help us thrash L'AF then I think you'll find that the Auld Alliance counts for little in this context.
The latest is that we just passed 10 million for PS3Grid. :wav: We should move into 3rd place in the next 24hrs. :wav:

To beat the frenchys? Of course
However, at this rate it would seem your well on your way to doing it

But should they decide to up their RAC then yeah i might jump on board for a short while.
Racers, start your GPU's!

Well if their cause seems lost, I'm sure they will throw a tantrum, try to pass some stupid law righting the situation and when all else fails, they will blame the Americans.

BS yet to show it but the GPU grid site shows that we have nipped past Boinc@Mixi and are now 2nd. :wav:
We're still outgunning Alliance Francophone but not by enough to make a serious dent in the gap.

Second is awesome! :wav:
First will be more so, but will take some months, or maybe longer, but we will do it! That 3rd GTX 260 arrives tomorrow!

Congratulations to Merlyn and the team for breaking 10 and 20 million cobblestones (respectively) on this project today.
Fantastic efforts all round.
