#1 New code in v6.6.10

Post by MacDitch »

I implemented this feature {in v6.6.10}: if you run the client with -- abort_jobs_on_exit
(or with <abort_jobs_on_exit>1</abort_jobs_on_exit> in cc_config.xml)
then, when the client it exited by user request (this includes SIGTERM and other signals on Unix) it will abort all pending jobs, then do scheduler RPCs to all projects with jobs, then exit.
The above is a quote from the developers. I thought I'd highlight it as if any project sets this as default (which seems likely as it was a project request) all your pending work will be aborted if you exit the manager for any reason!

You have been warned.
