I'm not very sure what this WUPROP is all about really. It seems to earn points without doing useful work??
I've read their home page and am none the wiser - would appreciate a brief explanation

#1 overview
I think this is fool-proof but could you just try it for me please? • There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don’t

It keeps track of things like how a certain CPU performs on each project and how much memory a project uses on both Windows and Linux. Go to the home page and click on results. Click the tab on the left to select the category you want to see. HERE
Additionally you get "stars" that change color for each sub-project. When you get 100 hours on a sub-project you get a bronze star. You can improve the color up to 100,000 hours and then you've maxed it out. When you get 20 100 hour stars you'll get the first star on a "ring". Get five stars (100 apps with 100 hours) and you fill the ring. Get another 20 100 hour stars and you get a 2nd ring etc etc.

Might help to look at one of our project pages to get a feel for the badges and how they relate to app hours. http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/show_user.php?userid=9472

Badges ! What are you guys like with your badges
Okay thanks. In my own words, each system I run WUPROP on contributes system-specific and project-specific usage profiles which can then be queried. For example, http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/results/ram. ... t&sort=asc lets me see that climateprediction has nothing for 64-bit linux. Also that WCG/MIP needs almost 10 times more memory than WCG/MCM. This is useful. I am getting loads of python errors but maybe thats because I haven't much data
I see it isn't a FB project but I'll run it for the personal points

I also run it on every system I have as it stops the dreaded split CPID on boincstats having a project running on every system to keep all in line ..... but also badges
