For those interested in Testing / Early Involvement

http://www.nicoschlitter.de/DistributedDataMining/

DistributedDataMining (dDM) is the name of a research project that uses Internet-connected computers to do research in the area of Time Series Analysis and Social Network Analysis. This is a new project that just started up, it went public yesterday! This Link (http://ddm.nicoschlitter.de/DistributedDataMining/create_account_form.php?teamid=369) will create an account that is part of the team, or if you prefer to join via the BOINC Manager then use the address at the top of teh message (but remember to join the team!)

NB: This project needs Java 1.6 to run!

WARNING: http://ddm.nicoschlitter.de/Distributed ... p?id=15#92

Typical Alpha problem, wu's are seriously incosistant in length, and the maximum time setting was too low

I'm going to abort just now, and go back to it after the Simap Scramble is over

We slipped out of the top 100 for this over the last few days (maybe weeks, I've been away) Only a couple of Thou needed to restore normality, so I've chucked a core on it just to tide it over
