Finally got round to plugging the wee beastie in. Happily chirping away in the background ..... not sure if that's a good sign or a bad .

you can turn the chirping off under the project prefs at the website. after that it will only chirp once or twice if system restarts, boinc not running or no internet access

Found that option and the option to turn off LCD. Going to wait until it has annoyed the wife ' chirping ' for a bit before I turn it offscole of TSBT wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 7:27 pm you can turn the chirping off under the project prefs at the website. after that it will only chirp once or twice if system restarts, boinc not running or no internet access

Chirping? Are you that close to Sellafield? Forum has mutated meanwhile too....you can delete the double
#15 Re: Radioactive@Home
Nowhere close to Sellafield, Torness would be closest now. Double post deleted, let me know if it becomes a common occurrence please as the planned upgrade didn't work as expected and I'm hoping that nothing is broken.Dirk Broer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 11:32 am Chirping? The Radioactive@Home server has been offline for close to a week. It's been up and down recently. Does anyone know what's going on with the project?
