Finally got round to plugging the wee beastie in. Happily chirping away in the background ..... not sure if that's a good sign or a bad .

you can turn the chirping off under the project prefs at the website. after that it will only chirp once or twice if system restarts, boinc not running or no internet access

Found that option and the option to turn off LCD. Going to wait until it has annoyed the wife ' chirping ' for a bit before I turn it off :lol:

Chirping? Are you that close to Sellafield? Forum has mutated meanwhile too....you can delete the double

Nowhere close to Sellafield, Torness would be closest now. Double post deleted, let me know if it becomes a common occurrence please as the planned upgrade didn't work as expected and I'm hoping that nothing is broken.

The Radioactive@Home server has been offline for close to a week. It's been up and down recently. Does anyone know what's going on with the project?

Polish Boinc Team website is also offline for a period of time ... so I cannot ask Administrator, krzyszp what is going on ... :shock:

Yes, as far as I recall there are two or three Adm of radioactive ... and krzyszp is One of them ...

as I recall is important, that i do not participate in that project, and only ocasionnaly ... reading posts on polich Boinc website ...
