#1 multi-thread app configuration

Post by Bryan »

You can run the PG CPU projects multi-thread instead of single ended.

HERE is a link to an automatic app_config generator program.

EDIT: BTW, it is best to turn off Hyperthreading when running PG. PG has very tight code and you will get more credits running w/o HT.

Must admit I avoid CPU crunching when a project offers GPU instead. Maybe I should consider this for the Sprints though
I think this is fool-proof but could you just try it for me please? • There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don’t

Compared to PPS Sieve on a GPU then CPU crunching is a total waste of time ... even in a Sprint. IMHO

CPU crunching on PG is more for badge hunters.

Phew - easier to buy another GPU and leave all my CPU cores doing other stuff
