#1 LHC
In case nobody noticed, LHC now has work.
#2 Re: LHC
Thanks Scole. Not sure I have any spare cores just now though

I hear ya. I need to be careful about trying to jump too many rabbits.

I can relate to thatscole250 wrote:I hear ya. I need to be careful about trying to jump too many rabbits.

BTW, for those that have Linux capability, LHC pays about 50% higher credit on Linux versus Windows.
They are out of work again.

50%
That's quite a difference

LHC popped 2 million and we gained 12 more points! Don't you believe for a second that there's no LHC work. I've got plenty!
I think my WuManager is ready for prime time too. I'm using it to:
1. abort hung lattice tasks
2. maintain work for a list of projects on each system.
--if number of project tasks below a minimum, set to allow new work and update project every 15 minutes until above minimum
----once the number of tasks is above the minimum, the automatic project updates are disabled
--if number of project tasks above a maximum, set to no new work and disable updates
----once the number of tasks falls below the maximum, it sets to allow new work
Working well so. Let me know if anyone is interested in trying it.

#9 Re: LHC
I'll write up a readme, put it all in a zip and attach it to post tomorrow.
#10 Re: LHC
No rush Scole. I'm doing my tax return tomorrow night so I won't have much fun time
#11 Re: LHC
I just wasted 30 hours with hung lattice tasks Does it work with Boinctasks ? Any chance it can also blacklist certain tasks like BHspin 33_10 ?

#12 Re: LHC
There's no conflict with boinctasks. It can be easily updated to target any task. I'll update it and get it posted.
#13 Re: LHC
LHC has work again at least for my nix servers
