Not sure, but we can ask them ... @scole of TSBT and @Alez

My chosen path is to only run 'rentals' between the challenges. Not really a rental but I offer free use of my hardware for electricity costs only to TSBT members. See viewtopic.php?f=25&t=28109

Of course, I just buy more hardware with the money I would have spent on electricity ... but that is precisely why it is working out pretty well. The farm is presently about 1250 cpu threads and 24 GPU

Great stuff but do please check our electricity prices in Scotland on that thread. Also do please realise that I will interrupt any rental deal to prepare and run FB and Pentathlon challenges i.e. it isn't 365 day availability

Best way to discuss, if you are happy with it, is on my own secure chat site : https://chat.gentlydoes.it - pop on and register an account

best available ATM would be six Ryzen 3900X (24 threads, 32Gb each). Also some Ryzen R3600 which are at least as fast but only 12 threads (16Gb)

12 cores, 24 threads to be precise. One thing is that it is a real pain in the butt to switch hyper-threading on/off as these are totally headless - no graphics card, no monitor / kbd / mouse. Hopefully you can stick with hyper-threading ON

I'll put one on an actual meter tomorrow.

What I will need from you please is your PrimeGrid weak key for an account which provides the correct sub-project on the default location. If you will pleaseregister on that chat site, we can keep that kind of info over there

I hope you guys can come to a rental agreement. Personally I'm easy with running whatever is best for the team between sprints, but in the past TSBT has adopted certain projects that are of an interest to team members and ran them as a team project. We haven't had one now in quite a while. Whilst TSBT has never had team orders on what projects to run, we've always been able to come to a consensus. We are quite competitive by nature, maybe an adopted project such as primegrid and internal challenges is a subject to revisit ?
