North Ronaldsay

Most northerly of the Orkney Islands and home to a unique breed of sheep which are kept OFF and on the beach by a stone wall built all the way around. Their diet is mostly seaweed and the meat from them is definitely an acquired taste

Aarlanderveen

Near where I live, almost unknown small green village in the middle of the densely-populated South Holland province (1.783 residents per square kilometer.)

New Lanark - a very pretty place with a fascinating history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Lanark

Basically a large-scale social / industrial experiment which had its own currency, education and health systems well in advance of the national norm of the time. Might look a bit dodgy through modern eyes but revolutionary in its day

Monterrey - presumably keen to deny any connection to Monterrey Jack cheese as it is truly awful stuff ;)
