I think we can start loading up bunkers with SCC in the WCG starting tomorrow. Their deadline for reporting should be after the start of the Pure Challenge. But better double check my dates.

I have started bunkering on 5 clients, so far for wcg, SCC the deadline is 11/4. So well into the last week. USA is already bunkering since they are in 7th place in the current week, ending tonight.
Let's go team! And oh yeah, I am back home, here!!

The NFS sprint is too close for comfort right now but it'll be over in 10 hrs after which I'll try & get every core onto WCG until Thor is over.

Looking forward to those cpu's crunching furiously in the wcg. I maybe close to 3000 wu's stashed safely away.

We are trailing somewhat. But with no sprint to worry about for just now I've put 250 cores onto WCG. But we are playing with the WCG big boys so shouldn't expect to have it all our own way.

I've been using ProLasso for many years and it is a great program and a useful tool. I mainly use it for setting process affinity and for setting priority.
Affinity ... you can select which threads a program is allowed to use. For example, I can setup a couple of threads for a GPU to run Collatz and no CPU work will run on those threads. You can also set up the process priority. BOINC assigns the default process level at "idle" but using ProLasso you can change that. I set CPU tasks to normal and GPU to "high priority".
ProLasso is NOT a freebie. After 30 days of the "trial" some features will stop working. The ones you care about for BOINCing (affinity/priority) remain active.

This is a nice tool, it shows the standings hourly for all teams. We are currently between 18th and 19th place.

I've got a modest bunker, but it's not an out and out game changer. But it might just be enough to give us a chance of 18th if we can lull UserFriendly.org into a false sense of security.

Woo hoo! I only dropped half my bunker but we are up to 18th.
Actually the TSBT effort so far has been pretty awesome.
Our RAC is 192K in Boinc credits which translates into about 1,3M WCG points/day.
But in just 48 hrs we have racked up 7.3M WCG points. That's a huge acceleration.
But we are fighting with the big boys, most of whom will also be uping their game as well.
Just being in this final is a victory. Anything better than last place will be a triumph!

Well done Gregg. But the Thor Pure Challenge is complete, they stopped the count at midnight. https://www.seti-germany.de/thor_pure/
TSBT finished 18th. Considering we were competing against 19 other elite qualifiers, that is pretty good.
Well done everyone & special thanks to Miklos for encouraging us to take part & for getting us so far!
