Thanks Gibson
We are all the Support Act for Gregg on this one I think. I have another 18M coming but not for another 40+ hrs

I've had a change of heart & am now bunkering with a view to dropping late in the challenge so that EVGA have no time to respond (unless they are bunkering themselves, of course).
Rationale is that they are a big team and might dig a little deeper if they suddenly fall 12-15M points behind. As it stands, the TSBT team is doing a very nice job at keeping them within range.
I will keep watching, of course, but current plan would be to drop my bunkers on 21st Dec. Should be somewhere around 36M barring power cuts or machine fails.

Good thinking. Bunkering is not common with PG .. obvious given the way the challenges are set up as well as the mentality of returning units first (so that you get credit for any prime and your name in the top prime lists, the double checker gets just that, a note that they were the double checker). However dredging up any old machine out of storage that could possibly return a unit in time, yup that happens a fair bit.

19 'Lucky' WU completed and bunkered at approx 947,000 points each. 44.53hrs on a gtx1080ti but, for me, the stars are the gtx1660ti averaging about 50hrs as they only consume 117W each
Keep up the good work, guys. The closer we stay to EVGA, the more the bunker drop on the 21st will blow them away

EVGA are now 13M ahead of us which is as high as I've seen - I can cover it but it is a little worrying. Is everyone else running open please?

I'm a bit late to this party but I'm running it now on 3 okayish GPUs. If you think it is better I can, once I've got a bunker built up, run closed until a couple of hours before the end of play?

Did you notice that only 3 sub projects are included. You may only get one or two completed. Probably as well to run open I think

Yup, I got the memo about the sub-projects. But I hadn't realised the extreme length of the WUs. I'll get at least 2 done. Maybe even a third!

I'm running open. I moved some CPUs to WCG so I've slowed down a little.

running open on the 1080ti as it wouldn't have finished another Do You Feel Lucky. Just went straight for Genefer 21 as that looks to be heading for about 9.5 hours

That figures! I've been hitting it with everything I've got trying to catch up to you and then I find out I'm picking on a cripplescole of TSBT wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 3:06 am I'm running open. I moved some CPUs to WCG so I've slowed down a little.
I'm really having a hard time deciding what I want to do. 4.5M more and I'd get my 1st 20M CPU badge on PG ... I'd have to run it to the end. But I really want to start moving back to Gerasim to finish our goals on FB. Decisions, decisions

I guess that is an easy decision then. Or don't finish would work too Since my output won't change our final standings then I'll start moving the CPUs back to Gerasim today.

Yup, sixth place, by 8M ( and more to come! )
Gregg is 9th, in a battle for 8th and 10th ( and maybe 7th and 6th )

first few GPUs falling silent now. The way it has worked is that they'd have been about 30mins short of completing a Genefer 21 - the shortest WU in the challenge
