Imagine naming a sub-forum to only hear about problems

Would that be the Clan Gordon tartan you've used?

I live only about half-a-mile from the old Clan seat which is Huntly Castle

Huntly used to be all Gordons & Bogies :)

Gorden Arms Hotel, Strath Bogie river, Bogie Street, and the now I think defunct Strathbogie pub.

Oh no hold on and Deans who from memory were just a small local bakery who used to deliver Rowies to the doorstep like the milkman when I remember. Look at them now.

Yup - Mrs Dean started selling shortbread from her own kitchen to raise funds for Huntly Pipe Band

Sounds like you lived hereabouts at some point? I am still a newcomer - only about 33 years in the area

Never lived there no. Had the opportunity to visit a number of times over the years though.
