Sure, I'll swap over from Wanless for a while as we still need points on TnGrid too.

@Alez Do you want your rentals on TnGrid?

It doesn't use heat but but it may cause your CPUs to generate more heat (I knew what you meant). Try a few and keep and eye on CPU and GPU temps

It is both picky and subtle, you use 1-Jan on the Sneaky Peek because that means 1-Jan in the current year. 11-Aug 14:15 would probably have worked okay after 14:15 UTC but 11-Aug-21 14:15 gives the same actual timestamp forever

not sure what's going on with the start time. I had to fudge post #1 by an hour in order to get it to agree with the BoincStats figures

All my systems are air cooled only and they cope fine. TN-Grid doesn't run the systems any harder than any other project as far as I'm aware.

They do have an AVX app and those apps often create some extra heat. Your air is also much cooler than Miklos' place.

Rechenkraft obviously had a bigger bunker than us but we are gaining on them by the hour.
A win for us would show that we aren't just about pre-comp bunkering. It would also be very useful in protecting and maybe gaining some FB marathon points.

Very true, so I'll quantify my reply as I should be the last member of the team commenting on someone not taking part in a competition. In no way am I attempting to sway or shame Miklos into taking part. The internal air temps inside the case of my hottest system is 12 deg C higher than ambient. The walls of my houses are 3ft thick, so outside temp is @14 deg C, internal of my house is 22 deg C. My I7 internal case temp is currently 27 deg C running 6 of 8 threads on TN- Grid with no GPU work. I simply lower the core count on projects that run hotter than others. I wouldn't place TN-Grid as being any harder on my systems than most other projects, but others may obviously experience different.

Some of P3DN have also woken up to their being a competition available outside of FB. We are slowly catching Rechenkraft.net. I am off to the BTCC race meet at knockhill tomorrow. I had intended shutting down my systems before I go, but I may rethink this, although as usual lately my contribution is not exactly stellar . 1 new Ryzon is up and running, another is apparently out for delivery with Hermes. If you are from the UK you will know that this means it may or may not turn up at your address and it may or may not be damaged beyond use when it does .......

They have eased off a little, I think. Doubtless starting to bunker some for later. WU still aren't within range of the end of the challenge though

... or maybe not, this shows points per hour over 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 / 16 hrs. I guess long run-times will give erratic scoring

And I am bunkering! Not enough to worry @SolidAir79 but I'd quite like to kick Cruncher Pete's bottom. Nice though it is to see that he isn't actually dead yet!

A TSBT 1-2-3 with Pete pushed off the podium would be a very fine prospect indeed! 8-)
If you share your weak account key for the project @Alez then I'm happy to lend you a few cores once my own position is secure which shouldn't be too long! :-)

not now - score all you can to maintain the current placings. I think you guys deserve #1 and #2 so I may not even drop all of Alez's bunkers after pre-empting some other rentals to do it. I'll aim to keep him safely on 3rd place.

I don't actually think Pete will have significant bunkers - I deliberately prolonged the overtake to see if he would drop. Will see what he does when he gets up
