I've just noticed this on the website: http://nativeboinc.org/site/news/66
The total stats are bust but the individual project stats are okay.
I can't say I feel anyway inclined to try and total everything up so I'm just going to say that I think I'm towards the top ;)

It's very frustrating the stats being down.
I think TSBT are very close to being #2 overall by now.
And even though the Odroids can be a bit unstable my Android RAC must be close to 5 digits by now and I must be closing in on respectability if not necessarily world domination.
Hopefully he will sort it soon.

Very frustrating indeed. Itching to know where I am :D and where Paul is :P
My ordroids have been set to run skynet POGS, simap and WUProp and haven't been rebooted since I got them . In fact compared to my computers they are model citizens. Are you using a stand alone power supply ( I am ) or are you using an adapter ?

Have to say my droids seem to chug away quite happily too. The only time I have problems is when I poke about with them!
I have the feeling that you'll be ahead of me now Alez. You weren't that far behind and with your recent additions I think you probably flew past me :?

I'm using a number of adapters.
Is there a better way of doing it?
It's one in particular which just doesn't seem to like NativeBoinc. The other 2 aren't that bad. I've got a fourth one which I've not set up yet. I don't have an eMMC card for it. Any idea how I'd set up Android (or Linux) on a microSD card?

Myself, Paul and Janos are all using this transformer http://www.circuitspecialists.eu/5-volt ... v-20a-100w with these tips http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/power-tip-connector-s-ar29g See this post for more details. http://www.dunadd.co.uk/seti/forum/view ... 136&t=2040 there's also more stuff here http://www.dunadd.co.uk/seti/forum/view ... =18&t=2130.
Never had any problems with nativeBoinc, quite the opposite of the official boinc.

Installing on an SD card is a explanation required by Janos. He seems to be quite handy at swapping OS's. I bought emmc cards pre-installed with Android because I haven't got that far yet

Right I've got some of the tips (using them with various previously obsolete 240VAC -> 5VDC adapters), I'll purchase one of thae transformers & I've got a soldering iron and I'm not not afraid to use it! Do I just connect everything up in parallel or what? :?
I don't want to fry my 'Droids and although I once got a Band 1 A pass in my Higher physics that was 35 years ago  & I must confess I don't remember all of it any more - I need a wiring diagram, please.

Yip parallel it is. The transformers have two +ve. 2 -ve. For the droids center is +ve outer is -ve. No serial or no workie :D And the standoffs I got were good too along with the fan running at 5 volts. The kids build with Kinnex was awesome but he prefers the standoffs and who I'm I to argue 8)

They are still alive but not fully functioning.
They work fine for individual projects and you can for instance see that we are second for POGS and Enigma. You can also see that most of us place respectably for a number of projects.
The one thing you can't get, and it's a biggie, is up to date combined stats either for teams or individuals.

Still while he keeps the site going at all there must be hope that he will fix it.

Funnily enough I was just having a look at the site earlier.
It's a pity that he hasn't made any progress getting the totals working again but like you said Mega at least you can check individual projects to see what's happening.
Would be really nice to get the totals though

4 of us in the top 50 and second team is most impressive boys, keep it up (apart from Alez as I was hoping to be top of the list ;))

Ally 22875
Snowdog of The Scottish Boinc Team 20654
Ianmrr 17010
Mark Mair 14846

Andrew McCluskey 36819
Snowdog of TSBT 24089

The low power authenticity of our Android efforts is a very comforting reassurance that we are more than just a bunch of Bitcoin bandits.

I have to say I do like my droids, on the whole they just sit there and crunch away slowly racking up the credit for a minimal cost.
The fact this means we are second in the world is a mere added bonus ;)

all 10 of mine on nativeboinc mainly because it's compatible with BAMStats, whereas, unless they have fixed it, the official Berkley one isn't.

I did have a look a while back to see if it had updated.
If I remember correctly the project pages are updating but not the combined totals.
Bit of a shame as it was a handy tool, especially for bragging rights where applicable.
