#1 MindModeling

I started running MindModeling on the laptop as a test of a new project. I created my account through BOINCstats but I seem to have ended up with a different CPID even though I used the same username/email and password as the others.

Anyway to manually correct this ? I also joined the team there.

You can't manually edit it if that's what you mean. :(

What you have to do is connect to another project (that you are already running) and it will 'transfer' your CPID to the new project.

The best way to manage CPID's is to have one machine that is connected to every project you run. You can have the project set to NNW just as long as each connects and update every so often.

So if I understand you right if I add one of my other project to the boinc install on the laptop it will correct the CPID ?

Might take a day or two, but yes.

I noticed this morning that I didn't have any MindModeling work so I looked at my account on their site and noticed a lot of errored work.

It can't finds the application files by the looks of things.

Try reseting the project and, if you use an app file, checking that it references the up-to-date application.

It was working fine up until last night I think - but i did notice there was a new MM application out. Should I download and install that over the top of my existing one ?

Just reset MM. It should pick up the new app automatically. Reset after uploading and reporting any results otherwise they are lost.

Not getting new WU's again, hopefully just a temporary thing.

If you look at this page you'll see that it is because the project has no work to send! I'm sure it's just while they change something or analyse the current work.

MindModeling@Beta has been issuing some Native R v2.15.1 Application (Cross Platform) WUs. It was new to my WUProp app list.

FYI...MindModeling@Beta is issuing Native Python v2.7 Application (Linux Only) WUs which are new to my WUProp app list. Must be running linux of course and maybe make sure the project prefs are set to not download the apps you already have or don't want.

Geez...one day shy of making my 5000 hour goal on Native Python v2.7 Application (Linux Only) because whiners complained about the short deadlines so the admin stopped the work :? Set the cache smaller...dink.
