Alright Alez and Skywalker, I challenge the two of you to race for TSBT's first WUprop lime star
You chaps up for it? 8)

This could drag on for a while ....... 20 projects , 25K hours each ........
What do I win ?
I was aiming for 100K in credit on Einstein, guess that will have to go on for a bit longer as a starter ...
Dirk, you could make it an interesting 4 way race. Which Amazon service ships to Leiden?

Now that's quite a challenge
By my quick calculations the hours required are:
Alez - 20k
Scole - 54k
Skywalker - ????
Dirk - 137k
Me - think my calculator ran out of digits!
The one thing we can say; this is a challenge that's not going to be done in a day or two!
Good luck boys :headbang:

Would need to see hours on each project app but not all of us show that.

Precisely! That's why I added the "Bryan Clause"
Tell ya what. We'll let you in on this too, but since you already have 2 lime stars and are close to a 3rd, we'll set your goal to earn your 4th lime star.

I don't have a 1 star badge, focusing on a couple of projects at a time- who would like or even want or need my hours, if possible. First come first served

To earn WUProp hours for someone else, you'd have to attach to a project as the other person. Some of the others might take you up on that but Alez and I are keeping it a legit race. Right Alez...

Your prize is a very generous offer, but given the time of year may I suggest an alternative. For the two of us it's a £20 / $25 buy in and the winner gets to nominate a charity of their choice for the buy in to be donated to. ( obviously if the charity choosen is not acceptable for some reason then an alternative will be decided. )
My choice would be Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

Have yet another 7970 that works perfectly as a display adaptor, watching videos etc but can't crunch That's 2 so far, guess ebay as spares / repair unless anyone here want's them.
Back to linux updates and VM's for me..... got to keep those hours a flowing

Looks like a worthy cause to me. Think this is a better deal than buying each other xmas presents
I'd forgotten what it sounded like when everything is whining ....... :bom:

They all do! I've ordered in the past with Amazon.com, Amazon.co.UK and Amazon.fr and i've been tempted to do so with Amazon.ca, Amazon.de and Amazon.jp. Even have had a slight argument with a US publisher (PYR) that thought that they only served the US market -while I have some 30-40 odd books from them, which i could have bought on Amazon.com -but I didn't, I bought them in the Netherlands, in a Ramsj (Remaindered book) sale.

Guess we are both chasing WCG hours .... I'm sure the team graph on our stats site is edging upwards

I have a couple WCG apps to get 25,000 hours on and apparently so does Alez. Too bad WCG credit is so dreadful. We're 1.2 mil away from 192nd, which is a long way based on how it pays.

With the amount of hours we're pouring in and being so far down the team list you really would think that we would move up a place or two. It's just depressing.

I'm still plugging away. WCG CEP2 is close. Will focus be focusing on UGM and MCM next. How about showing your app details and computers on WUProp?
Bryan, your WUProp credit has tanked over the past couple of days

Congratulations Alez. You have earned that lime star first. Well done. :) And am I glad this is over! It was like watching grass grow. Not a total loss. I have 17 apps in lime, 18th is close. Still in reach. Will just have to wait a bit longer.
On to the Rosetta challenge!
Oh, just one little formality. If you would be a good chap and display your computers and app details. I'd like to see where I miscalculated this so badly!

Done, as the winner of what I hope might become a yearly TSBT christmas charity challenge, I get to pick the winning charity. I choose scoles choice of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. My donation has been sent. Anyone else who wants to contribute, either send direct via paypal or contact scole via pm and he will send the donation as a combined amount.
Oh, yeah me

TSBT donated $100 to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Their mission...
"The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay."
