How would you like a PCIe expansion card with 60 or so x86 cores running at over 1Ghz? Plug it in and get an immediate performance boost. You can run several on the same motherboard.

So far this is rather expensive for the hobbyist but the price will probably drop to "reasonable" levels by the end of this year.

I certainly haven't seen any apps ported to this yet. Think at the moment they are still ridiculously expensive compared to GPU's
The best form of help from above is a sniper on the rooftop....
